Firefighters intervened at 12:12 p.m. Monday, December 9th at Saint-Hubert gymnasium L’Isle-d’Abeau, where fifteen students were suffering from nausea, headaches, and vomiting.
The firefighters and GrDF teams performed various tests to determine if they were suffering from monoxide poisoning. All tests came back negative. Also, a team from Bourgoin-Jallieu was mobilized.
Five college students did not show any symptoms. The 14 others, as well as the physical education teacher, complained of headaches, stomachaches, or vomiting.
Because their health was good, no transport to the hospital needed.
These symptoms are still being investigated.
