Bizum will not be paid from next week. The payment platform has denied a message that is running through social networks and that has made it a trend this Tuesday, where it is stated that each user will have to pay a fee in days.
The message that is going through Twitter states that the CEO of Bizum has announced that “it will no longer be free” and that starting next week, on May 16, a monthly fee of 10 dollars would be charged to users. The only way to get rid of it would be, according to this message, to forward it to all contacts and you will automatically “be exempt from payment”.
Bizum sources have assured that it is “totally uncertain” that the service will be paid for. “The CEO has not made any statement where such an assertion is made. We do not know the source of said information and Bizum categorically denies it,” they have assured Europa Press.
In fact, through the same social network, they have joked with the chain, citing the original tweet, from a youtuber, with the following message: “If you write Bizum three times, and send it to all the contacts in your agenda, you are exempt even from the Bizum you owe”.
