The Civil Guard of the Traffic Group of the Toledo Detachment has investigated a 37-year-old man on the TO-23 highway traveling at 161 kilometers per hour, in an area with a limit of 70 kilometers per hour.

The events occurred during the morning of May 14, when the patrol was positioned on a section of the TO-23 highway, with a maximum speed of 70 kilometers per hour, when they observed a vehicle traveling at a very high speed that As he passed by the agents, he tripped the speedometer of the radar vehicle, showing a value of 161 kilometers per hour.

After the kinemometer alert, the agents in charge of the radar stopped the vehicle in order to be able to identify the driver and proceed to instruct the pertinent procedures.

Once the civil guards of the Traffic Association notified the driver of the crime, they carried out tests indicating the presence of drugs in the body, yielding a positive result for cannabis.

For this fact, they also carried out a superficial search inside the vehicle, finding a few grams of hashish.

A 37-year-old man has been investigated, not arrested, for a crime against traffic safety for speeding.

Similarly, the person has been administratively sanctioned for driving with the presence of drugs in the body and for possession of narcotic substances on public roads.
