This Monday, a conference was held in Orihuela for the educational centers that participate in Aquae STEM, a program launched by the Hidraqua foundation, Fundación AQUAE, to promote scientific and technological vocations in girls. This national program is aimed at female students from 2nd to 6th grade throughout the country and 2,500 female students from 51 educational centers participate in it. In Orihuela, there are two schools that have joined this initiative, CEIP Hurchillo and San Bartolomé.

Thus, throughout the morning, different activities have been carried out in the Glorieta Gabriel Miro in Orihuela, also coinciding with the celebration of World Environment Day, which is commemorated on June 5.

In total, one hundred schoolchildren have participated in this session where different workshops on climate change, sustainability and the integral water cycle have been held.
