A 65-year-old man has been arrested in the Valladolid neighborhood of La Rondilla for alleged repeated attacks on his partner and his 13-year-old daughter after the woman decided to report him after receiving a kick in the leg on Tuesday.
According to sources from the Municipal Police of Valladolid in a statement collected by Europa Press, around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday it was the man himself who called the Police headquarters to state that his partner did not allow him to enter the home, because she had inserted the key in the lock from the inside and, after ringing the man’s doorbell, she did not agree to open the door for him either.
A Municipal Police patrol appeared at the scene and spoke with the man, who assured that he had left the house at 11:00 a.m. after an argument with his partner and that after returning at 4:30 p.m. he could not enter nor did she open the door for him. the door.
The man spoke to the 54-year-old woman through a window that overlooks the landing and she insisted on denying him entry to the home.
The police officers then knocked on the door and the woman opened it and told them that she and her youngest daughter, 13, who seemed visibly nervous and crying, had argued with the man about the “frequent consumption of alcohol” for part of the man, who claimed that he had insulted them and that he had kicked his partner in the leg, who had a visible bruise.
Also, according to the account of the two women, before leaving in the morning he had given the girl a push.
The woman assured the police that she had never reported him “out of grief”, but added that on previous occasions she had also attacked him, something that according to the female was aggravated by alcohol consumption.
However, on this occasion she did want to file a complaint, something that the police have already done, and for this reason she no longer wanted the man to enter the house.
For this reason, the man has been arrested and the Service for Victims of Domestic Violence has taken over, which has opened the appropriate proceedings
