A 35-year-old was critically injured with a knife in a dispute at Wunstorf train station. According to witnesses, the man clashed with a younger man late Friday afternoon. As a police spokesman said, the younger man stabbed the 35-year-old several times, injuring his upper body and leg.

The perpetrator fled. The police searched for him with several patrols, dogs and a helicopter – so far without success. Officers are investigating an attempted homicide.
