The Rhein-Neckar Lions concluded the main round of the European League with a win. The handball Bundesliga team won 27:23 (10:8) on Tuesday against the already eliminated Polish first division team Górnik Zabrze.
In front of 2,679 spectators in the Heidelberg SNP Dome, Niclas Kirkeløkke was the top scorer with nine goals for the cup winners, who had already secured second place in group one before the encounter.
