The handball team from Frisch Auf Göppingen won the first leg of the quarter-finals of the European League. Coach Markus Baur’s team won 32:23 (15:9) at home against RK Nasice from Croatia on Tuesday evening. The best throwers of the game were Göppingen’s Marcel Schiller and Kevin Gulliksen as well as visiting professional Janko Kevic, each with seven goals. The Croatian club is among the top teams in its country. He was in the Final Four last year and is leading the league this season. The second leg will take place in Nasice on April 18th.
