A 25-year-old man was arrested in the Sternschanze district of Hamburg because he is said to have sold drugs in his car. Police say officers saw the 25-year-old’s car early Saturday morning after a man waiting by the side of the road got into the car and exited it shortly afterwards.
The officers checked the 38-year-old man after leaving the car and found cocaine on him, the police said. They then stopped the car and searched it. They confiscated various pieces of evidence – including cocaine and around a thousand euros, it said.
According to the police, the 25-year-old was arrested and brought before a magistrate. The drug squad took over the investigation. The alleged buyer was released due to lack of grounds for detention.
