Stories, music and puppets that seem to come to life: the city of Halle is hosting the puppet theater festival “Ulrichs Hofspektakel” for the fifth time this weekend. After the opening on Saturday in the courtyard of the Ulrichskirche, the free puppet and figure theaters in the city on the Saale invite you to various events until Sunday. The artists show, among other things, “Little Red Riding Hood”, “Tales of Kasper” and the “Frog King”. According to the city, puppeteers from the Harz Mountains and the city of Bochum are also expected to attend the festival.
Before the official opening on Saturday afternoon, there will be an interactive city tour with puppet shows in downtown Halle in the morning. According to the information, an approximately one and a half hour program is available under the title “Schalunken und Halloren”. In focus: legends and stories of the Middle Ages.
