The A67 near Rüsselsheim (Groß-Gerau district) was reopened to traffic on Monday morning after an accident. A truck had damaged a bridge at the Rüsselsheim triangle, the police said. The truck got stuck on the bridge on Monday night, which then had to be checked by structural engineers, as a spokeswoman for the police motorway station in Darmstadt said. Since the damage to the bridge turned out to be minimal, the closure was lifted a short time later. Accordingly, the route from Rüsselsheimer to the Mönchhof triangle was temporarily impassable. The “hessenschau” had previously reported.
