The stories are on the floor in front of us. We just have to look down and discover them. A rutted path leads up a steep slope. There are small black olives to the left and right of the path. Nothing special at first glance. But they bear witness to how Corfu, the second largest Ionian island in north-west Greece, has developed over the centuries.
