The vice president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Juan García-Gallardo, has assured in Valladolid that the appearance in the Cortes of the Minister of Agriculture, Gerardo Dueñas, to report on the program for the legislature will impress by his “ambition”. Not in vain, he has stressed that he knows “perfectly” the challenges and problems that the Ministry must face.
García-Gallardo has expressed himself in this way after attending the mass celebrated in the hermitage of San Isidro de Valladolid on the occasion of the day of the patron saint of farmers and ranchers. The Eucharist was officiated by the Auxiliary Bishop of Valladolid, Luis Argüello, and was attended by other authorities such as the Vice President of the Provincial Council, Víctor Monge; the Councilor for Planning and Resources, Pedro Herrero, and the president of the Popular Municipal Group, Pilar del Olmo.
The president of the Board, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, has also paid tribute to the field sector, who has done so through a tweet. “They are essential for the growth of our land and the maintenance of our rural world,” he stressed. «They are the essence of Castilla y León. You will always have us by your side. Happy day of San Isidro Labrador! », He has written in the social network of the little bird.
Meanwhile, the second in command of the regional government has stressed that agriculture is an activity not always valued by citizens despite being “fundamental”. “They are the ones who give us food and carry out the most sacrificed jobs in society. That is why we want to be here today to accompany the people of the countryside », he asserted.
«Farmers should know that Vox will always be there, defending their interests because they are those of all Spaniards. Today is a day of celebration and we want to accompany them symbolically, but we will accompany them on a day-to-day basis, shoulder to shoulder, to help them develop their activity, from the Government”, he insisted, not without praising the “great training” of Dueñas, agricultural engineer.
