Accordingly, the defendant, who was 60 years old at the start of the trial, worked as a training instructor for young shooters in the shooting club. According to the indictment, between 2007 and 2010 he abused a boy who was nine years old at the beginning of the period at the club’s events and overnight trips. The prosecution also accused him of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old in 2022.
In the process, the chamber also expressed criticism of the shooting club for its handling of the abuse case, as the court spokesman said. After the crime in 2022 was reported, the young person concerned was expelled from the shooting club in response.
According to the spokesman, the verdict was preceded by an agreement. The prosecution requested a four and a half year prison sentence, the defense demanded three years and nine months in prison.
