Sports director Markus Krösche from Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt is not yet worried about a possible departure from successful coach Oliver Glasner in the future. “He enjoys an extremely high reputation, everyone knows that he does outstanding things,” said Krösche in an interview with the “FAZ”: “But ultimately nobody knows what the future will look like. And my job is to prepare Case X, too when I’m convinced that Oliver will stay with us for a long time.”
Glasner would complement himself excellently with the entire team of trainers and supervisors, explained Krösche: “Whether athletic trainer, doctor, team manager, kit manager or bus driver – everyone ensures the spirit that has a performance-enhancing effect.” And in the end, Glasner also benefits from this.
The coach and he would tick “totally” the same in many things, revealed the sports director. “I have a clear idea of football and how Eintracht Frankfurt should play. We need the right coach for that – and that’s Oliver without a doubt,” said the 42-year-old. However, the Austrian is more emotional, “I’m more rational,” says Krösche.
