One person died in an apartment fire in Berlin-Wedding. According to the Berlin fire department, there was a fire late on Tuesday evening on the second floor of a multi-storey apartment building on Togostrasse. About 28 firefighters were on site and extinguished the fire.
During the extinguishing work, a lifeless person was recovered in the apartment, said a spokesman for the fire department. The remaining residents were therefore unharmed. According to initial findings, furnishings in the bedroom were on fire. Previously, the “B.Z.” reported.
