The 8th Bremen Film Festival opened on Wednesday evening. As part of the opening event, the five-day festival presented the British drama “Kindling” by director Connor O’Hara. The director and the actors were present at the European premiere in Bremen.
More than 100 films of all genres have been shown at the film festival since Wednesday. The highlight of the five-day festival is a gala on Thursday. Director Maria Schrader (“I’m your human”, 2021) receives the Bremen Film Prize, the comedian Loriot (Vicco von Bülow, 1923-2011) is posthumously awarded the honorary prize.
