Paris Brothers, a Kansas City-based specialty food company, is recalling several cheese products due to possible contamination with listeria.
Although no illnesses have been reported, listeria can cause serious and even fatal infections in young children and frail adults.
Eight products were affected by the voluntary recall. They were manufactured between May 4 and 6. These lot codes are 05042022,05052022, and 05062022.

These products were distributed in nine states: Kansas Missouri, Arkansas and Iowa, Oklahoma, Nebraska. South Dakota, Mississippi, South Dakota, Mississippi, and Florida. Here’s a list of where these products were distributed.
Listeria infections in healthy individuals can cause severe headaches, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Listeria infections can also lead to stillbirths and miscarriages.
