The storm caused numerous police operations in the Donau-Ries district. Among other things, the lines of three power poles hung on the federal highway 25 near Donauwörth, as the police announced on Saturday. Around 40 emergency services were on site on Friday and blocked the B25 for around five hours. In addition to this incident, the strong wind caused a trailer to overturn, several fallen trees and a company sign to be thrown into a car, among other things.
In southwest Bavaria, the German Weather Service (DWD) warned of gusts of wind on Saturday. Around Bayreuth and between Cham and Passau from continuous rain. It’s supposed to rain in places on Sunday night. During the day there will be occasional rain with heavy clouds. The maximum values are between three and eleven degrees.
