A cyclist suffered serious injuries in an accident with a car in Georgsmarienhütte in the Osnabrück district. The 38-year-old was on Friday morning in the opposite direction of travel on a cycle path on federal highway 51 in the Oesede district, said a police spokesman. A car then turned off the main road and hit the man. The 38-year-old was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
