A total of seven people were injured in a four-car accident on Autobahn 61, including a two-year-old child. The accident near Dintesheim (Alzey-Worms district) was triggered on Sunday evening by a 22-year-old car driver, the police said on Monday morning. She had to brake due to traffic and lost control of her vehicle. Her car collided with that of a 22-year-old, whose car also skidded. Both were slightly injured.
According to the police, a 60-year-old could not brake in time and collided with the 22-year-old’s car. The 60-year-old was seriously injured, his passenger (23) slightly. The section of the Autobahn from Gundersheim was closed in the direction of Koblenz until late at night. Around 2:00 a.m., traffic was back to normal, a police spokesman said on Monday.
