In the case of the deadly attack on a pregnant woman in front of a Danish nursing home, there is a second suspect. After a 24-year-old man, a 33-year-old woman was also arrested, according to the responsible Danish police department on Tuesday. It is believed that she played a role in the killing of the pregnant woman. There is a connection between the two women. A court should decide on Tuesday whether the 24-year-old and the 33-year-old should be taken into custody. Like the 37-year-old victim, both suspects have Afghan nationality, police said.
The pregnant woman was attacked with a knife late Thursday evening in the small town of Holbæk, around 50 kilometers west of Copenhagen, after she had finished work in a nursing home. The perpetrator pulled her out of her car and stabbed her several times. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Her unborn child – a boy – survived the attack, police said on Friday. Since then there has been no new information on the condition of the child.
