Hundreds of demonstrators are currently protesting Bill 96 in Montreal.

The motorcade, which left Dawson College at 11:20 a.m., is currently heading to the Montreal office of Premier François Legault.

“My CEGEP, my choice,” chant the protesters.

They are particularly against the addition of French courses, or in French depending on the linguistic status of the student, in English-speaking CEGEPs in the province.

A few politicians are present on the spot, including Dominique Anglade, leader of the Liberal Party of Quebec.
