A 31-year-old man was shot in a kebab shop on Hamburg’s Reeperbahn. The victim was shot in the stomach on Tuesday night, said a police spokesman in Hamburg. According to initial findings, several unknown men had come to the fast food restaurant where the 31-year-old was already sitting. There was an argument and physical assaults. Finally, one of the attackers shot the man.

The men then got into a dark car that was apparently waiting and drove away. The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and required emergency surgery. His health was stable again on Tuesday afternoon. The background to the fact was initially unclear.

The search for the men with more than a dozen patrol cars, riot and federal police forces and a service dog handler were initially unsuccessful.
