A student in southern France attacked and fatally injured his Spanish teacher with a stabbing weapon. The French media reported unanimously on Wednesday, citing the Bayonne public prosecutor. The suspect, a 16-year-old schoolboy, has been arrested, broadcaster BFMTV wrote. After the attack, the teacher was in mortal danger and then died.
According to France Info, there is no longer any danger at the high school in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, not far from the Spanish border. Immediately after the attack, students were asked to stay in their classes. BFMTV reported the student stabbed the approximately 50-year-old teacher in the chest with a knife. The teenager has mental problems.
