Starting this Tuesday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the kiosk in Plaza de Zocodover and on the website toledoentradas.es, seats can be purchased to watch the Corpus Christi procession on June 16. The price of each chair is 10 euros and the online purchase carries a supplement of 1.20 euros for management fees.
Thus, it was announced this Friday by the spokeswoman for the Government team, Noelia de la Cruz, who reported that the contract has been signed with Ángel Abraham Hernández Sánchez for an amount of 1,000 euros.
As every year, as the local government spokesperson recalled, on Trinidad Street at the height of the San Marcos Cultural Center, a space reserved for people with reduced or adapted mobility will be set up, so that they can enjoy the Corpus Christi procession Christi as easily as possible.
The number of chairs for sale amounts to 1,500 seats.
«The periodic meetings and the contact that we maintain from the Government of Mayor Milagros Tolón with the management of the National Hospital for Paraplegics are important, for this and for other matters, but in this specific case we know that some of the patients want to be present in the procession, which as a City Council we have always facilitated”, said Noelia de la Cruz.
Likewise, the Local Government Board, responding to a request from the Provincial Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Toledo, has approved the extension of the closing hours of bars, discos and cafe-theaters between June 13 and 18, both inclusive, on the occasion of the Big Week of Corpus. The extension of the schedule will be one hour on working days and holidays: 13, 14, 16 and 17, and two hours on Saturday and the eve of holidays: June 15 and 18.
