The president of the Cortes de Castilla y León, the Leonese Carlos Pollán, received his predecessors this Friday at the head of the Community Parliament in a meeting that took place in an atmosphere of “cordiality” at the headquarters of the Autonomous Courts.
As reported by the Autonomous Parliament in a statement sent to Ical, the meeting was attended by Carlos Sánchez-Reyes, who was president of the Cortes for the CDS in the second legislature, and Manuel Estella, president between the third and fifth legislature for the Popular Party, the same formation for which José Manuel Fernández Santiago, also attending the meeting, was president in the sixth and seventh legislatures.
Likewise, Silvia Clemente and Ángel Ibáñez, presidents of the Cortes in the ninth legislature for the Popular Party, and Luis Fuentes, who was at the head of the regional Parliament during the tenth legislature for Ciudadanos, have also attended.
The first president of the Cortes of Castilla y León, the socialist Dionisio Llamazares, and the president of the autonomous Parliament in the eighth legislature, the ‘popular’ María Josefa García Cirac, have excused their absence from the meeting.
