Elon Musk recently made headlines because his new technology company Neuralink implanted a chip into a human’s brain for the first time. Some reactions were downright anthemic. Rightly so? As a scientist in this field, I am of course happy when a company takes such an important first step. There were also critical comments relatively quickly.
