Hubertus, Philipp and Max – still students at the time – founded their company Mymuesli in 2007. In the beginning, every single can was filled by hand. By March 2019, the company already had 31 branches and 655 employees, and the muesli is also available in around 1,500 supermarkets. So why test the Advent calendar when every type is available in stores? In fact, behind more than half of all doors there are exclusive combinations that are not available for purchase. And that’s not the only advantage that the Mymuesli Advent calendar has to offer.

There are no original sizes in the Mymuesli Advent calendar, but rather 24 cups of 85 grams each in the handy Mymuesli-to-go format. One portion certainly won’t satisfy your hunger, but it’s ideal as a small snack in the morning or in between. As far as content is concerned, there is no duplicate variety. And that’s not the only plus point: In fact, hidden behind 13 doors are exclusive cereals that you normally can’t buy. On the last cup, which is usually only consumed on December 24th, there is also a voucher for ten euros. The Advent calendar weighs a total of 2040 grams and is 40 x 40 x 40 centimeters in size, which means it can also be easily sent as a gift.

Attention, spoiler: Below we will list in detail all the varieties that are hidden behind the 24 doors.

When it comes to design, presentation and taste, the Advent calendar from Mymuesli was convincing. In addition to the advantages mentioned above, what was positive is that the cube is made entirely of cardboard and is therefore more sustainable. The cups and lids are mostly made of plastic, but this is certainly due to the durability and freshness of the contents. It should also be emphasized that all varieties have an organic seal and are completely free of palm oil. But the price is quite impressive when you consider that all cups only contain 85 grams of muesli. On the other hand, the to-go formats can be easily transported in a backpack or bag and can therefore be eaten anytime and anywhere. All in all, the Advent calendar is a versatile, beautiful, although not entirely cheap, gift idea for people who like to eat a variety of muesli. In any case, we liked the varieties with milk (or a vegan alternative) very much. They are versatile, fruity, chocolaty, crunchy, and satisfy your little hunger.
