Three skunks escaped from a zoo in Weißenfels (Burgenlandkreis). The city of Weißenfels announced this on its Facebook page. Anyone who sees the animals should not touch or harass them, but should call the fire brigade or the police. Although skunks are generally not aggressive, they secrete a very unpleasant-smelling secretion when they feel threatened.
According to the information, the animals come from the Weißenfels natural park, a zoo with around 200 animals. According to the zoo, the three skunks were named after well-known perfumes: Coco, Bruno and Chanel.
