Birkenfeld: Driver gets on the opposite lane, builds an accident and flees

A previously unknown driver got into oncoming traffic on the B269 near Birkenfeld and caused an accident. As the police announced on Tuesday evening, he drove over the central reservation in a slight left turn, so that the driver of the oncoming car had to dodge. He went off the road and the car overturned; the driver was slightly injured. The driver who caused the accident fled the scene. The accident car was a total write-off.
