Because a man threw his bike in front of an incoming train, 100 passengers had to leave the train and put up with long waiting times. The aggressive-looking man was already noticed on a train on Monday afternoon, at the Tiergarten S-Bahn station he then threw the bike onto the tracks and fled, as the federal police announced on Wednesday. Despite immediate braking, the next S-Bahn ran over the bike and was damaged. Federal police escorted passengers outside the station from the trains. “In order to free the bike wedged under the S-Bahn, there were blockages in rail traffic and extensive effects.” The police are now evaluating video recordings.
