A 9-year-old was hit by a car at a tram stop in Berlin-Lichtenberg and seriously injured. According to initial findings by the Berlin police on Friday, the girl ran onto Möllendorffstrasse at the bus stop in the Fennpfuhl district on Thursday morning, without paying attention to the traffic. A 54-year-old driver was unable to brake in time and hit the child. The girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries to her head, arms and legs. The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
