The winning streak of the Niners Chemnitz basketball players has broken. The Chemnitz team slept through the start and were 6:14 behind after four minutes. In the middle of the second quarter, the home side seemed to gain control of the game and took the lead 37:35 (15 th ). But after Bamberg’s 7-0 run to 42:37 (17 th ) the Saxons were always behind due to their weak three-point quota (only eight goals in 37 attempts). At the beginning of the last quarter, Bamberg had already made a preliminary decision in this duel at 74:60 (31st minute).
