While the team from Lower Saxony consolidated their place in the top group with their ninth win of the season, the team from Saxony-Anhalt still has a four-point lead over the relegation zone.

Mark Smith (21), Geno Crandall (18), Javon Bess (17), Till Pape (15) and Harald Frey (12) had the greatest share in the success of the Göttingen team. Kris Clyburn (22), Tremmel Darden (17), Charles Callison (16) and John Bryant (11) scored the most points for Weißenfels.

The guests started the game very focused and led 17:10 after four minutes. The Weißenfelser lived from this lead until the beginning of the third quarter.
