A 27-year-old man found his parents and brother dead in their single-family home in Villingen-Schwenningen (Schwarzwald-Baar district). The three dead all had stab wounds, the police said. The 27-year-old came home in the afternoon and discovered his relatives on the ground floor of the house.
The 32-year-old brother was lying in a different room than his mother and father, said police spokesman Jörg-Dieter Kluge. According to their statement, the police found a knife on him. This is probably the murder weapon. “According to initial investigations, there are indications that the son first killed his parents and then himself,” the statement said. The parents were therefore 57 and 62 years old. Both sons were registered at the address of their house, said Kluge. However, the 27-year-old also has a second home.
A forensic team was busy with the final forensics late in the evening, as the spokesman reported. According to the police, the measures at the crime scene were completed that night. Further investigations, particularly into a possible motive, have been initiated.
