A drunk driver overturned his car several times in the Bad Dürkheim district. The 28-year-old had previously left the road near Haßloch on Saturday evening and crashed into a tree, the police said on Sunday. The man was slightly injured and was able to get out of the car that had broken down in a field himself.
During the recording of the accident, the driver was found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.92 per mille by means of an alcohol test. He had to give up his driver’s license. He was taken to a hospital for further examination. The car was totaled.
