Three people have died and 14 more have been injured during a shooting that occurred early this Sunday at a nightclub in the town of Chattanooga, in the US state of Tennessee.
The Police received the first notice of a shooting at 2:45 a.m. and when they arrived at the scene the agents found several victims to whom they provided medical attention, explained a police spokesman, Jeremy Eames, quoted by CNN.
A total of 14 people received gunshot wounds and three more are injured after being hit by vehicles in which people were fleeing the scene. Two of the deceased died from gunshot impact and another after being run over, according to Eames.
The Police works with the hypothesis of several shooters with different weapons, but at the moment no arrests have been made or the victims or suspects have been identified.
This same Sunday, three deaths and eleven injuries have been reported in a shooting in one of the best-known areas of bars and restaurants in the American city of Philadelphia.
The country continues to be shaken by the recent gun attacks in Buffalo, New York; at a school in Uvalde, Texas, and at a hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
