Animals: Six-year-old child bitten by dog ​​on playground

A six-year-old child was bitten in the face by a dog at a playground in Weißenfels (Burgenlandkreis) and was seriously injured. As a police spokeswoman announced on Thursday, the 45-year-old owner of the animal had tied the dog to a park bench at Schützenplatz on Wednesday evening. The child approached the animal and was bitten. The owner eventually pulled the dog back. The man is now being investigated for negligent bodily harm.
