Holch-Povlsen family has decided to renovate the Danish Banks over the 100-year old building in Aarhus city center.

the Company Aplace, which is owned by Bestseller ceo Anders Holch-Povlsen, has bought the old bank that has been at Bispetorv in the city since 1885.

And it must now undergo a thorough restoration and renovation, both inside and outside.

There must be a hotel and shops, are writing the Invitation to tender.

In the basement, there must be a restaurant in the ground floor there must be a retail space, and on the first and second floor should be made of the guest rooms.

On the third floor if you plan to have yet another restaurant associated with the hotel.

“the Project is first and foremost to maintain some of the unique historic buildings, says project manager Anders Krogh from Aplace in a press release and continues:

“We go into the project, because we have a passion for architecture and historic buildings, and even when we acquired the buildings, we knew that there came a huge responsibility.”

You don’t know yet, who will hire the new shop premises or manage the new hotel.
