The journalist and writer Ana Iris Simón, author of ‘Feria’ will be in charge of proclaiming the 2022 Fair of Campo de Criptana (Ciudad Real), a town from which she is a native.

“A luxury herald for a fair that will resume this year with total normality, without dispensing with any of its activities and with some novelties”, they have highlighted from the Consistory.

The life and personal trajectory of this young journalist are marked by the experiences and memories of her childhood in the well-known town of Los Molinos.

«The name of Campo de Criptana is linked to Ana Iris Simón, who since her professional beginnings has marked the vision that the journalist has of rural Spain, which she has always defended and towards which she feels a strong attachment», they have highlighted from the Consistory.

Born in the town and linked to it by her grandmothers and grandfathers, being the mothers fairgrounds, she has had the opportunity to experience many fairs and see how they have changed over the years, without losing their essence.

“For her, her town and her family are her heritage and they will undoubtedly be present at the proclamation that will open this year’s Campo de Criptana Festivities, as well as her direct and close way of communicating,” they point out from the town hall.
