The Jausiers High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon took over the care of a woman in her forties on Sunday, May 29th, at 11 a.m. She fell five meters below the trail while hiking in the Trevans Gorges, Estoublon.
She was suffering from fractures in her wrists and back, and she was evacuated to North Hospital Center in Marseille aboard a helicopter of the Gendarmerie Air Section. Two PGHM rescuers were also present, as well as a doctor. of the National Association of Mountain Physicians and Rescuers, (ANMSM).
