The municipal chair in the municipality of Viso del Marqués (Ciudad Real) will have a new mayor starting this Sunday. This is Alfonso Lozano Megía, from Ciudadanos, who will become the new alderman after the agreement of the last extraordinary plenary session, relieving José Calzada, from the Popular Party, who has held the position for the last three years of the legislature.
In the extraordinary plenary session, held on June 1, the resignation of José Calzada, from the Popular Party, as mayor, was made official, with the mayor Raúl Pisa, first deputy mayor, assuming the functions of acting mayor.
Now, starting this Sunday at 11 am in the Plenary Hall of the City Council, the municipal team of Viso del Marqués, made up of PP, Cs and UdCa, who had a tacit agreement of relief, will proceed.
Presumably it will be Alfonso Lozano Megía who occupies the Vizeña mayor’s office this last year of the legislature.
The Municipal Corporation of Viso del Marqués is made up of a total of 11 mayors: 2 from Cs, Alfonso Lozano Megía and Raúl Pisa Camacho; 3 of the PP, José Calzada Calzada, María del Carmen Almodóvar Marín and Julián García Sánchez; and 1 from the Castilian Unit, Manuel Ángel Alcaide Valencia, and 5 from the PSOE, Fátima Victoria Ginés, Francisca Rodriguez Arroyo, Juan Gregorio Pérez Almodóvar, Antonio del Fresno Soguero and Plácido Roberto Navarro Ruiz. Starting this Sunday, the mayor of Ciudadanos will take over.
