In Berlin-Neukölln, a 32-year-old came to the hospital after a robbery with a life-threatening stab wound and had to undergo emergency surgery. According to his own statements, the man had previously been pushed to the ground by a man in a playground while a second tried to steal his wallet, the police said on Monday morning.
After a brief scuffle during the incident on Saturday evening, the two suspected perpetrators are said to have fled without taking anything. The seriously injured man could no longer remember his way to the hospital and the origin of the stab wound. According to the attending physician, the 32-year-old would not have survived without the emergency operation, police said.
