The investigation continues after four children fell through the roof of a gymnasium in Remshalden in the Stuttgart region. The 13-year-olds probably fell through the skylight of the roof while playing late Saturday evening and were seriously injured, the police said on Saturday.

As a police spokesman said on Sunday morning, it must now be checked whether the building may have security gaps. In the accident in the Rems-Murr district, the children fell about seven meters into the depths. They have not yet been able to be interviewed.

As the spokesman further announced, one of the children called for help in the neighborhood after the accident. A neighbor who lived next to the gym then called the emergency services.
