When two cars collided on the B27 near Ebergötzen (Lower Saxony), two people died and two others were seriously injured. The two occupants of one car, aged 14 and 43, died at the scene of the accident, the police said on Sunday. The two drivers were taken to hospitals.
The 33-year-old driver of the first car was previously on the B27 when he lost control of his car for reasons that were initially unclear and drove into oncoming traffic. There he collided with the oncoming car of a 41-year-old, which then drove into an embankment.
