A car hit a 14-year-old at a bus stop in Niederkassel near Bonn and fatally injured him. A police spokesman said the car left the road on Saturday for reasons that are still unclear.
The driver, his passenger and a child in the vehicle were seriously injured. Several media outlets had previously reported on it. The badly damaged vehicle could be seen in images from the scene of the accident. The bus stop looked like a pile of rubble.
