A nine-year-old child was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Euskirchen. The girl suddenly ran into the street between two parked cars on Friday, the police said. Despite an evasive maneuver, the 48-year-old driver was no longer able to prevent the collision between his car and the child. The girl was thrown onto the street in the accident and seriously injured. It was flown to a clinic by rescue helicopter. The car was seized to investigate the cause of the accident. The driver was not injured.
