Three people died in a boat accident in the Netherlands. The last missing person was found dead in the evening, said the emergency services in Dinteloord in the south of Rotterdam. Two people had already been found dead. A 40-year-old German was rescued uninjured.

The police assume that the victims came from Germany. At first this was not confirmed. Her identity has yet to be conclusively determined, police said.

The boat capsized yesterday with four people on board in the Volkerak, a branch of the North Sea, in the southwest of the country. The cause is still unclear. The police had called off the search for the missing people at night and continued today with sonar devices and divers. Police think the group was in the Netherlands fishing.
