A 41-year-old woman, with a criminal record, has been arrested by agents of the National Police as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo).
The events took place when two agents who were on patrol observed a vehicle approaching a person who was on public roads. When they were a short distance away, this person approached one of the rear windows, where a woman handed him a small object.
At that moment, realizing the presence of the National Police, he threw him to the ground, while the vehicle tried to move away from the place to avoid the police presence.
The small object on the ground turned out to be a dose of cocaine.
For this reason, the agents intercepted the vehicle, occupying the woman who was traveling in the back seat with eleven doses of cocaine ready for sale and 7 pills, for which she was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a drug trafficking crime.
In addition, the person who was seen acquiring the drug was reported for possession of the drug, a fact that may constitute a serious infraction of Organic Law 4/2015 on the Protection of Citizen Security and that can be sanctioned with fines greater than the 600 euros.
